MetaLINK scans all my e-mail for viruses. Why do I need antivirus software?

Although we do scan for viruses on all incoming and outgoing mail on our server it is highly recommended that you have a program on your computer to scan for viruses. We recommend this because you can still get viruses other ways including receiving e-mail from other providers, downloading infected files off of the Internet, or using an infected disk.
