I have my page created. How do I upload it?

While you are more than welcome to use any methodology of uploading your page to the web, we're going to focus on SmartFTP. You can obtain it from www.smartftp.com. After you have installed and started the program, you will need to enter a few things in order to connect to the MetaLINK web server. Near the top, you should find these settings. Fill them using the following information: Address: userweb.metalink.net Login: This is your username. If your e-mail address is This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it then your username is nascarfan. Password: Enter your password here as it appears on your user sheet. Port: 21 Anonymous: Leave anonymous unchecked as you can not anonymously log in to our server. After you are all done entering your information hit Enter and it will connect you. Once you're connected, the first thing you will notice is a public_html folder. ALL of your web page goes in this folder. Double click on the public_html folder to open it. From here you willl see all the files on your homepage. To Upload a file, simply drag and drop it to the window on the right. If you wanted to download a file off of your website, you can drag it from SmartFTP to your Desktop or wherever you would like to put it. And that's it. Your webpage is now uploaded. The only thing to be sure of is to make sure you save your first page as index.html.
