Plesk offers a built-in way to view what files are currently on your webhosting account without needing to log in through FTP or Frontpage Extensions. Each webhosting account only has access to the files under the domain, so you do not have to worry about others having access to your files.
To view the File Manager, just log into your domain and click on the "File Manager" icon.
Adding a New File There are two ways to add new files through File Manager. You can upload a new file, or create a new one by hand. To do this, click on the directory that you want to add the new file in, and click on "Add New File" at the top (figure 1).
Figure 1:

You can upload an existing file from your harddrive by clicking on the "Browse" button and selecting the file to upload. File Manager will then copy the file directly to the web server (figure 2).
You can also create a new file from scratch. Just type in the file's name in the "File Name" box, and click "OK." You will be presented with a simple text editor that you can type in information to (figure 3). Just type in the information and click "OK" to save it to the webserver.

Deleting Files To delete files, simply put a checkmark in the checkbox on the right-hand side of the row with the filename, and click "Remove Selected" at the top (figure 4). You will be given the chance to cancel the deletion in case you selected the wrong file(s). Once files are deleted in this way, there is no way to recover them.

Copying and Moving Files If you accidentally create or upload a file to the wrong folder, you can use the ?Copy/Move? option at the top to move files. To move or copy files, simply put a checkmark in on the right-hand side, and click on "Copy/Move" at the top. On the Copy/Move page (figure 5), type in the destination folder under "Destination." If you click "Copy", a new copy of the files will be created in the destination folder. "Move" will move the files from the old folder to the new one.
