Creating and Uploading a Web Site through Frontpage Extensions
Using Frontpage allows you to interact directly with our servers when it comes to saving documents, and allows seamless integration for updating files. To use Frontpage Extensions, you will need to use Microsoft Frontpage 2000 or higher to create your webpage. You can purchase Microsoft Frontpage as part of the Microsoft Office suite of applications or individually from most stores that sell software.

Creating a New Website
If you are creating a new website, the easiest way to set up publishing through Frontpage is to open Frontpage itself and click on "File", then "Open Share". In the "Open" box that pops up, simply type your full URL (including the http://) into the open box. You will then be presented with a new website, and can begin creating your Frontpage-based website directly on our servers.

Using an Existing Website
Frontpage also allows for an existing website to be published to a server using Frontpage Extensions, even if it is stored locally on the computer. To do this, you will need to use a Web Site, not just a single Web Page (bear in mind, a web site can contain only a single page, but Frontpage itself distinguishes between a user opening just a page or a web site). To publish an existing webpage, click on "File", and then select "Publish Site". You will get the Remote Web Site Properties box (figure 1).

On this box, just type in your full website address in the "Remote Web Site Location" box, and have selected "FrontPage or SharePoint Services". Click "OK", and you will be presented with a split-screen window (figure 2).

To move files from your local machine to our webserver, you can either drag individual files from one pane to the other, or select one of the options under "Publish All Changed Pages" at the bottom.
