Norton LiveUpdate no longer works with TurboDial Installed

Symantec, the makers of Norton AntiVirus, have discovered that the software used in TurboDial is not compatible with LiveUpdate by default. If you have recently upgraded to Norton AntiVirus 2005 and can no longer update through LiveUpdate, you will need to add the following addresses to your Proxy Exclusion List in TurboDial. liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com liveupdate.symantec.com To add these addresses: Click on the TurboDial icon near your time Click on Settings in the menu Click the Proxy Exclusion tab Click the bubble next to Specify a proxy exclusion list Type the two addresses above into the box, seperating them with a semicolon (;) Click OK at the bottom Restart the computer To view Symantec's web page about this problem, click here.
